For the producers and creatives behind Brazilian Nites, every day is a kind of carnaval, but once a year, the whole world gets in on it, and from Mardi Gras to carnivale Italian-style, the middle of February is full-on beads and boas season. But everyone knows it's better when you go Brazilian, especially since for their 10th anniversary, Brazilian Nites gets all 21st-century with it. In addition to the show-stopping dance and musical performers, this year sees DJs Garth Trinidad, Chris Brazzil, and Marlo Fuentes holding down an upstairs alternativo lounge, plus VJ Leonardo Bondani live-mixing the downstairs dance floor with a feed from Rio. The Carnaval people have also thought to organize samba classes for all skill levels ahead of time, so when you are inevitably inspired to shake your money-maker, you'll have a better chance of looking like you know what you're doing.
