Curated by Angela Dufresne, the Fuckheads group show features artists who challenge traditional ways of seeing, moving away from portraiture aligned with likeness and sentimentality and gravitating toward an anarchy of silicon intelligence claimed in the 21st century. Clarity of vision is not achieved through the presentation of concrete subjects; rather, the subjects (either personal or appropriated) are born from the artists' unyielding imaginations. The works reflect a (re)presentation of each artist's reality rather than a presentation of commonly shared cultural images. - A. Moret
