Portland-based Vagabond Opera are a dynamic ensemble whose blend of global influences (they perform in 13 languages!) sits well with their vibrantly colored outfits and operatic flair. The classically-trained, jazz-loving singers and instrumentalists attack brass and percussion with a blend of vaudevillian theatricality and the precise, exuberant elegance of a gypsy-family orchestra.
