“Haters may want to file away Dirty Projectors under "things white people like" along with bands like Grizzly Bear and Animal Collective, but they're too innovative, too consistently adept at bending genres, and simply put, too much fun, to dismiss. Their co-headlining show works like this: the Los Angeles Philharmonic plays orchestral pieces selected in conjunction with DP's David Longstreth. Then Dirty Projectors play songs from last year's Bitte Orca as well as 2005's The Getty Address in its entirety, aided by modern ensemble Alarm Will Sound.
