In what could be called real kunst (as an art-world equivalent to real politik), Downtown soirée impresario Jerico Woggon is back with the second edition of his new monthly parties, at which artists and locals take over a neighborhood bar, make art in situ, and trade tales of Depression-inspired woe. Packaged as an old-school, lounge-lizard cocktail party, the idea is that since no one has any money anyway, we might as well hang out, swap art, sway to golden-oldie torch songs, cry in our beer specials, and stumble home the better for it.
