Crafting a quality musical instrument is like building a beautiful piece of furniture that needs to sound beautiful, too. Since founder Torakusu Yamaha developed the company's first reed organ in 1887, the Japanese-based Yamaha Corporation has been pursuing tonal perfection. Tonight, seven pianists, including David Rosenboom and Anna Grinberg, perform songs ranging from Russian Romanticism to Radiohead in appreciation of Yamaha's contribution to music history.
