One of LA's relatively few pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods, Echo Park is also full of artists, musicians, and other adventurous creative types. Now, an inspired group of such enterprising artisans is launching PDA (public displays of art), to celebrate. Bike or walk the local avenues, map in hand, and be on the lookout for goings-on in over 20 galleries, creative spaces, and ad-hoc chain-link fence galleries, including landmark-specific performances, outdoor films, impromptu live music, and that rarest of LA phenomena, crowded sidewalks.
