Marine's series of themed group exhibits are designed to be absorbed as a personal collection, and the art salon's latest, Salon No. 4, Works 092 –140, examines the collector/closet cryptologist who is drawn to decoding art. The meaning behind the work of the nine artists here may not be immediately evident, but it's the process of the puzzle-solving that makes the work engaging, as well as the unexpected integration of archetypical domestic space. Speaking of Art in the Domestic Setting, the gallery's own Claressinka Anderson moderates tonight's panel featuring a participating artist, critic, writer, and gallerist.
