Luke Wilson plays a perfectly average man with an IQ of 100 (dead in the middle of the bell curve) who's transported to the future, Rip Van Winkle-style, to awaken in a world where humankind has devolved into a race of imbeciles, leaving him to now be the smartest man on the planet -- and amongst a garish garbage culture dominated by fast food, corporate logos, 5th-gradespeak and La-Z-Boy toilets, Wilson strives to save the human race from itself!
