REAL VOCAL STRING QUARTET
Drawing inspiration from sources as diverse as traditional American string band music, Brazilian folk rhythms and hypnotic meditations from West Africa, these classically trained, expert improvisers have been wowing audiences in clubs and concert halls alike. Real Vocal String Quartet, formed in Berkeley, California in 2003 by Turtle Island String Quartet founding member Irene Sazer, is putting the finishing touches on their sparkling debut album. RVSQ brings the string quartet to a whole new world!
