“Rightly calling much of contemporary American literature a "conservative," "spotty" medium, American writer Dennis Cooper's new line of published fiction aims to embrace a wave of younger, alternative written material. What was once labeled "avant-garde" is now dangerously categorized as "radical," and too often, important talent is ignored. Little House On The Bowery will publish two new titles a year; tonight’s West Coast stop introduces some of that talent to curious Cali audiences.
