“Rodrigo y Gabriela began playing thrash metal together over 15 years ago as teens in Mexico City. Weary of the scene's limitations, they moved to Europe, settling in Dublin, where their fast, rhythmic and melodic acoustic-guitar playing attracted much attention. Increasingly acclaimed around the globe, tonight offers a chance to watch them perform their originals, and possibly some Led Zeppelin and Metallica covers, in an intimate setting, followed by a Q&A with Grammy Foundation and MusiCares Vice President Scott Goldman.”

The GRAMMY Museum welcomes Dublin-based Mexican acoustic guitar phenoms Rodrigo y Gabriela for an intimate onstage interview and performance. During the program, the two guitarists will field questions about their fascinating careers, indefinable music, and numerous influences, both classical and metal. Afterwards, Rodrigo y Gabriela will participate in an audience Q&A and perform several of their beloved songs.
