“Apparently, their day jobs as popular KCRW DJs and already-prolific impresarios of dance nights around town aren't keeping Marion Hodges' or Mario Cotto's plates full enough. The 10pm-midnight indie-music munchie staple and Hungry Beat (and Squaregirls) maven are joining forces and hijacking the dessert cart in their new monthly night of eclectic rare gems and "sweet surprises," Confection. Eat whatever you want at dinner, because the only sure thing about this groove-heavy parfait is that it will make you dance until you sweat the cupcake away.”

This club night from KCRW's Mario Cotto and Marion Hodges was awesome but... Confection says: Thanks for wanting to come out on Monday, but we have to cancel Confection. The Medusa Lounge has shut it's doors for good. We're scouting new venues as this is being typed (and if anyone has suggestions send em over). We'll let you know where we land, and we'll see you on the dance floor very soon!
