“LA Artcore hosts a dual-venue exhibition co-produced by the Thai Art Council and the Office of National Culture Commission of Thailand. The exhibits, which take place at Artcore's Union Center headquarters as well as its annex at the Brewery, kick off a month-long international exchange program with artists from Thailand and the United States. Following the two-week exhibits, participating artists will travel to Thailand, where they will exhibit at the Fine Arts Museum at Chiang Mai University as well as the Thailand Cultural Center in Bangkok. The program is designed to highlight each culture's unique creative legacy while "strengthening artists' positions in their creative pursuits."”
Note:
There is also a reception at the Brewery Annex on Sunday, April 4, at 1:00pm.
Participating artists include Lea Denise Anderson, Pongdej Chaiyakut, Nonthivathn Chandhanaphalin, Peerapong Duangkaew, Thawan Dachanee, Edem Elesh, Marla Fields, Rossalin Garst, Mark Steven Greenfield, Miya Hannan, Koojah Kim, John E.
