“In the worlds of hardcore, Emo, and Screamo, 35 years old is a little long in the tooth to still be wailing about being left at the prom. To his credit, Cursive's Tim Kasher has evolved as a songwriter in the years since the Nebraska band began releasing albums full of soft-spoken vocals that erupt into full-throttle, chaotic choruses.
