“Downtown's historic Million Dollar Theater opens its doors for two nights to a homegrown art production that features live music by Ariana Delawari; the LA Ladies Choir; He's My Brother, She's My Sister, and more — artists whose original compositions weave a narrative reflecting the audience's own actually decaying social system as well as its latent fears and hidden hopes. A socially-minded post-apocalyptic rock opera, New combines a retro bohemian aesthetic with an edgy-hippie vibe, all in the name of "free art for the people."”
