Writers Elizabeth Hall, Katie Manderfield and Amanda Montei, founders of the forthcoming OnwardAwkward literary journal, present an evening of readings by experimental women writers.

Author Bio:

Amanda Montei lives in Los Angeles, is an MFA candidate at California Institute of the Arts, and is co-founder of OnwardAwkward.com, an online resource/journal for experimental writing by women. She is currently working on a memoir, an experimental novel, and many other small projects which explore and explode notions of femininity and the gendered nature of language and art.

Elizabeth Hall is an MFA candidate at California Institute of the Arts and was born in Louisiana, raised in Georgia. Her work has recently appeared in Birkensnake, Word Riot and Necessary Fiction.

Katie Manderfield is currently an MFA candidate in the writing program at California Institute of the Arts. She is a fiction writer, an assistant editor at Black Clock literary magazine, and has been published in several online literary journals. She lives and writes in Los Angeles.
