High on Fire were the vanguard of the latest wave of heavy riffage and have kept their sky-blackening, thrash-and-fury-fueled iron horse on track, pounding out snarling, hairy-chested anthems that owe more to Motörhead and Manilla Road than they do to Slayer or Metallica.
