“Inspired by the sculptor Alexander Calder and his monumentally jovial aesthetic, the Calder Quartet blends the skill and repertoire of classical strings with a distinctly modern agility and adventurousness. The group is known both for collaborations with emerging and experimental artists and for incorporating unlikely electronic influences.
