Now, he's taking his program of mid-century madcap décor and gorgeous gaudiness to another dimension: the third. Presented in two acts, the debut edition of the 3-D Retro Slide Show promises gloriously over-saturated Kodachrome, as well as trippy 3-D imagery of local landmarks, world's fairs, and science fiction TV.”

Downtown Independent says: Pop culture expert and comedian Charles Phoenix will share spectacular 3-D images for the first time ever in this all new, two-act, 3-D Retro Slide Show extravaganza. See sensational Stereoscopes of the Victorian era. Experience the classic "Viewmaster Family" at home in the 50s, time travel back to SoCal in the 1930-50s, go behind the scenes of early sci-fi TV and explore legendary world's fairs. Filling the theatrical air with 3-Dimensional melodies will be Dominic, the "Worlds Greatest Roller Rink Organist." Audiences are invited to come dressed in lipstick red and bright turquoise in honor of those old 3-D glasses. Everyone will also receive a free pair of 3-D glasses. (**PLEASE NOTE: This show is rated "3-D PG" due to some cheesy cheesecake.)
