“Brad Hooks and Sari Mellafe are The Young Romans, a L.A. duo who infuse folk rock with a welcome kick of electronica; soaring guitars, and guilty pleasure hooks. Though their tunes have recently been featured in national campaigns for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (and their official bio lists their music as "organic"), don't call The Romans coffee house rockers; they're equally at home on the dive bar stage. Tonight's appearance at the Silverlake lounge includes tunes from their latest EP, 'Yesterday Night,' and a tease from their debut full length due early next year. With Brook and River and City City.
