Cubensis celebrates the Grateful Dead concert experience. Like the Dead, the band plays a wondrous amalgam of blues, country, jazz, electronic and rock and roll music, all in the space of about three hours on stage. As with all improvisational jambands, every Cubensis performance is an ongoing experiment, and is closely tied to the boundless energy of the Deadicated fans. All eras of the Dead are represented, plus selections from the Jerry Garcia Band and many others, even as the Dead covered themselves.
