Egyptian Theatre says…

City Lights, 1931, 83 min. Perhaps Charlie Chaplin's best blend of comedy, pathos and class critique, this portrayal of the Tramp's well-intended efforts to help a lovely, blind flower seller is one of the director's greatest films. A Woman Of Paris, 1923, 78 min. One of the rare Chaplin films not starring Charlie, this romantic drama casts Edna Purviance as a woman caught between the security of a wealthy lover (Adolphe Menjou) and the passion of a poor artist.
