Tomorrows Bad Seeds is an American rock, reggae band made up of 5 musicians from Hermosa Beach, California, formed in 2004. Commonly abbreviated TBS.[1] All their music is a collaborative effort among the band. The bands line-up consists of Moises Juarez (lead vocals), Sean Chapman (vocals/guitar), Matthew McEwan (vocals/guitar), Pat Salmon (drums), and Andre Davis (bass).Hermosa Beach, California is where Tomorrows Bad Seeds was formed. The band was formed by lead singer, Moises Juarez and guitar player and turntablist Mathew McEwan in 2004. Later, Johnny McEwan, Mat's cousin joined the band as their drummer. Soon after they met their bass player Al Arnado who later left the band to take a job as a longshoreman, so they recruited Andre Davis to fill his spot., while playing a show the band ran into fellow musician Sean Chapman, they had known him in high school, so the band pulled him in and he joined as the fifth member playing guitar and singing vocals. The bands name came from a graffiti crew they had grown up around called TBS, they used the acronym to come up with Tomorrows Bad Seeds wanting to stay true to their roots. The band started out by playing in local bars and friends back yards but quickly gained momentum as one of the hottest rising bands in Southern California. In 2007 the band signed with UrbanTone Records, an independent record label as a vehicle to spread their sound.[2] The band released their debut album Early Prayers in June 2007, featuring the singles Rhyme & Reason, Vices, Warrior Poet and Love Street,[3] making a big splash on iTunes reggae chart. Love Street hit number three on the charts in Hawaii and in 2011 the album charted at #4 on the billboard Reggae catalog chart. In 2007 the band toured all over Hawaii on four separate tours packing venues throughout Kona and Hilo. In 2008 the band continued to tour, headlining and opening for acts like Pennywise, Pepper, UB40, and Sean Kingston. In 2009 Tomorrows Bad Seeds covered the United States playing at venues like House of Blues (Hollywood), Vault 350, Knitting Factory, Key Club, Galaxy Theatre, the world famous Roxy Theatre (West Hollywood) (Which they shut down for the 2010 Sunset Music Festival on the famous rock blvd Sunset strip). The gigs kept pouring in Tomorrows Bas Seeds started to share the stage with the likes of popular bands such as 311, Slightly Stoopid, The Wailers, Steel Pulse, Half Pint, The Expendables, (Hed)pe, Eek-A- Mouse, Pato Banton, John Brown’s Body, just to name a few. In the midst of all the touring and recording throughout 2009 Johnny McEwan left the band halfway through recording their second album making it on seven tracks and replaced by Andre's friend Pat Salmon who made it on four tracks finishing the album.[4] On May 25, 2010, Tomorrows Bad Seeds released their second album Sacred For Sale
