- Tell us about your worst mosh pit experience.

Went to a concert where the opening band apparently had a HUGE skinhead following. One guy would grab you and beat you if you brushed against his girlfriend and another fell, stated that it was my fault, even though I was just standing there, and tried to rip me apart!

Only one? I was "floating" above the pit and noticed I was quickly headed towards the empty space made by the mosh pitters, face-up head first. The ceiling was really low and just before I took my fall I managed to grab on to a slightly hanging piece of ceiling. It didn't save me. It came down with me to all the cheers of the fellow pitters, and I still landed face-up, head first, unable to break my fall with any limbs. I was knocked unconscious and had to be carried backstage. It wasn't so bad since I awoke to all the members of my favorite bands making sure I was ok. But the bump on my head hurt every time I laughed or walked for weeks!

I had my shirt ripped off at an all girl mosh pit. That in and of itself isn't embarrassing, but I haven't lived down going to a Thursday show in Worcester, MA.

Being an art enthusiast would have to say Pop Art. Although the most famous works were to come out of later decades, it started in the 50s. Were would we be without our iconic use of television, photography, comics, cinema and advertising? Course the little kid in me is screaming CHARLIE BROWN, who also made his printed debut in the 50s. :) Peanuts was one of my favorite comics as a kid.

The modern Lego brick (patented on January 28, 1958). This colorful, European delight consumed the majority of my childhood and dominated diplomacy with my sister. I cried when my mother gave my entire collection to the new family next door "to make space in the attic".
