Flavorpill says

The holy grail of Hollywood isn't just a well-appointed vault of cinematic classics and Oscar ledgers. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) pays homage to all things Movieland, hosting free, public multimedia art and design exhibitions, low-priced retro screenings, and other celluloid-themed tributes and events. Beside the impressive 1,012-seat Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, it also operates the Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood, where smaller screenings and discussions bring in full houses.
