Fitting for a speakeasy, the Bootleg Theater is tucked in an unassuming block of Beverly at the base of Downtown. Originally a bra factory, the venue now plays host to musicians, performance artists, actors, and other entertainers. Marking it as a place artists can call their own, the Theater’s strong DIY spirit is evidenced by the ladder you’ll likely glimpse in the corner, as well as the stroll through the green room to get to the back smoking patio. Parking in the church lot across the street is free, but bring your wallet for the cash-only bar.
