The Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center is a world-class performing arts theater presenting a wide range of artists including Broadway, theater, chamber music, jazz, world music, baroque, dance, opera and family and educational programs. With only 499-seats, the theater offers a wonderfully intimate setting to experience world-class artists, complete with ocean breezes and easy (and free) parking. The Edye Second Space is a black-box theater, home to the Under the Radar series, a laboratory for mad talent and creative experiments where young artists and brave audiences mix it up. It also a great space for theater improv. Both spaces are located on the Madison Campus of Santa Monica College, just ten blocks from the beach, seven blocks from the 3rd Street Promenade, and far away from all the downtown traffic.
