Flavorpill says
For years before its expansion, the Echo was a local hidden treasure on a lone stretch of Sunset Boulevard, where mostly locals-only crowds took in the best local bands. Then the owners renovated an expansive concert hall underneath the main stage, gave it a separate entrance, and started attracting national and even international buzz bands — but not at the expense of the local flavor up top.
