- Directions: Driving: The Getty Center is located near the intersection of the San Diego Freeway (the 405) and the Santa Monica Freeway (the 10). Take the Getty Center Drive exit from the 405 and follow the signs to the main gate on Sepulveda Boulevard.

The Brentwood Outpost of the J. Paul Getty Museum is as renowned for its architecture, gardens, and views as it is for its art, which includes a collection of rare 19th and 20th-century photographs and pre-20th century European paintings, drawings, sculpture, and decorative arts. The Center also houses the Getty Conservation Institute, the Getty Foundation, and the Getty Research Institute, which features a number of its own exhibits throughout the year.
