Those who've never been there had better skedaddle over to experience this backpackers' paradise. Lose yourself in the colorful murals of Haiti's cultural life, which decorate every inch of the venue; dip some malanga fritters into that succulent cilantro sauce; suck up some sugary rum mixed with mint leaves; and contemplate the age-old Afro-Caribbean chanting that permeates the air.
