JAM (Just Another Monday)

This weekly anything-goes, almost-anyone-can-play jam is well into its second year at Transit Lounge, and it's finally come full circle. JAM is once again hosted by local sax hero Juan Turros (most notably of Latin funkateers Suenalo and jazz outfit For If the Flies), who was the freewheeling evening's original ringmaster when it first began. It's been successfully hosted by several other musicians since then, but Turros keeps things tight; there's no messing around on his stage. Well, some messing around.
