Sweat Records founder Lolo Reskin takes over Circa28 to present her fifth annual Thanksgiving-eve dance party. Once again, it's dedicated to Sixteen Candles-era prom. Lolo's in-house DJs, Dennis M, Alex Caso, and Ray, tend towards straight-ahead tunes: expect to hear songs by Modern English, Eddy Grant, and Men Without Hats. Between sets, the Miami rock combo Outereach takes the stage as a cover band (Smiths fans, you will not be disappointed). 2007 is as good a time as any to dust off your formal wear and shake your butt — this time around, without all the acne.
