Poet/rapper/chanteuse Megan Melancholy has been doing her thing at other people's open-mic nights all across the city for more than a year now, leading many observers to wonder when she would break out and fly solo. While a set of recordings has yet to surface, the enchanting vocalist has started up her own open-mic showcase at Jazid, featuring DJs and live art to boot.
