Balbir Singh Sodhi, a 52-year-old Sikh gas-station owner from Mesa, Arizona, was shot and killed by a local four days after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The story of the senseless hate crime is told by Sodhi's brother — who searches to reconcile his idea of the American dream with his brother’s murder — and first-time filmmaker Tami Yeager.
