Film The Experiments of Andy Warhol: Vinyl (1965)

Whether or not you consider Vinyl to be "the worst film of all time" (as have some cranky-pants), there's no denying its inner wildness — nor its absurdity. Very loosely based on A Clockwork Orange, and featuring facework from Edie Sedgwick herself, Warhol's 66-minute paean to the fake finds Victor (Gerard Malanga) betrayed by Scum Baby (Ondine) and tortured until he becomes a useful member of society. That the brutal browbeating dances along to Martha and the Vandellas' classic "Nowhere to Run" makes the movie move, and that the entire flick kicks in one dark room makes it statically delicious.
