Johnny Winter is still going strong, churning out the same raw, gut-spilling blues that made him a guitar god in the early '70s (and resulted in his producing Muddy Waters' final albums). His guitar-playing may still be nimble and innovative, but at heart, Winter's just an old-school bluesman. Praise be for that.
