Peruvian singer/songwriter Gian Marco is music royalty. His mother is the well-known Peruvian actress and singer Regina Alcóver Ureta, and his father was the late Peruvian composer Javier Zignago. He won a Latin Grammy for his 2004 release Resucitar, and penned the "We Are the World"-type, post-9/11 ensemble hit "El Ultimo Adios." Sure, his melodies can be a tad over-dramatic, but they're musically legit. Tonight, Marco gives a performance at the Carnival Center to benefit Peruvian earthquake relief.
