Eight years in, Poplife is still hitting capacity each week, and headliner Ursula 1000 should blow the doors off the White Room once again. Thievery Corp's ESL record label signed the DJ back in '99 for his bouncing breakbeats and mult-culti mix-ups of genres, ranging from hip-hop to house, with some sitar thrown in for good measure. While he gets tapped to play at Prada store-opening parties and do remixes for the likes of Felix da Housecat, Quincy Jones, and Sesame Street (yea, that's right), the man's not too busy to make a dance floor sweat.
