Film: Documentary My Kid Could Paint That

Ever since the birth of abstract art, naysayers have claimed that a child could create its equivalent — that is, until 2005, when a child actually did. The tyke's name is Marla Olmstead, and for 15 minutes, the four-year-old's story galvanized the world. Was she a genius or was this a fraud? Amir Bar-Lev's open-minded doc leaves the decision up to the viewer, but his portrayal of the manipulative media (not to mention the parents) provides ample, entertaining evidence for both sides.
