Film The Experiments of Andy Warhol: Lonesome Cowboys (1968)

Leave it to Warhol to shoot a Western in which horny cowboys sit around talking about makeup and hairstyles when they aren't raping women or commingling among themselves — but, then again, no one expected him to do anything but spoof the genre. Cast from his Superstars, shot on location at the Rancho Linda Vista Dude Ranch outside Tucson (the very same place John Wayne movies were made), and edited while healing from bullet wounds (Valerie Solanis shot Warhol after the film wrapped), Warhol's last stab behind the lens is about as authentic as the Marlboro Man and three times as absurd.
