Whereas most of the world-conquering, musically adventurous reggae bands of the mid-'80s have faded away in the decades since, Britain's Steel Pulse have remained tough and true, continuing to incorporate everything from jazz and rock influences into their heady, ethereal sound. When it comes to material, the Pulse have too many classic albums to name here — which means they can rock this New Year's Eve party to dawn and beyond.
