Note: An opening-night preview featuring performances by Deerhoof and Ken Kagami takes place on Tue Dec 4 (4-9pm). Tickets cost $100-200, and all proceeds benefit the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York.
Granted, there's a surplus of satellite fairs this year, but NADA is one of the originals — a free, welcoming event boasting collections from a bevy of American and European galleries. Most enticing are the New York spaces, including the low-key White Columns, the intriguing Rivington Arms, and the fresh kids from CANADA. NADA's a fine respite from the hectic rush of Basel.
