Exiled to Australia for a crime he didn't commit, Sweeney Todd returns to London to punish his jailers, with a little help from his meatpie-baking neighbor. Directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle, with music by Stephen Sondheim, this humorous and critically acclaimed musical — which inspired the Tim Burton film currently in theaters — mashes up murder, hair care, cannibalism, and cooking to disprove the notion that revenge is a dish best served cold.
