It used to be that a rudimentary one-line bio of this South Floridian, guitar-toting songstress referred to her former life as a surf instructor in Costa Rica; while that experience certainly does inform many of her reflective, sun-baked songs, Deblois' music has continually grown to contain much more. At this point, her ditties have been weathered by endless touring around the country — travels which have given her songs, both new and old, bigger heart and vision than ever before.
