To increase attention to American women in contemporary art, the Lowe's Women Only! show gives props to 20 notable ladies in the field, including Jenny Holzer, Ann Hamilton, Jennifer Bartlett, Grace Hartigan, and Miriam Shapiro. As an extra treat, the show includes videos of the artists at work and photos of their studios, providing a glimpse into their artistic practices. Also up is Labors of Love, a satellite exhibit complementing the main show, which presents work by female artists from the museum's vast permanent collection.
