Reading Lip Service

The concept is simple: Submit a story according to three guidelines. The story must be true; it must involve you, the writer; and it can be no longer than 1,500 words. Then, if your piece is selected, you're asked to read it. Aloud. In front of people. Miraculously, Lip Service has turned into one of the most anticipated (and highly attended) literary events Miami has to offer. With it reaching its fifth incarnation, one can only assume that there is no local shortage of juicy personal confessions — or people willing to share them.
