Recorded over two nights at the UK's Milton Keynes National Bowl in front of 130,000 punters, Bullet in a Bible features much of Green Day's critically acclaimed punk-rock opera American Idiot, as well as a bevy of their heaviest hits. The concert doc was directed by Samuel Bayer, who was famously/supposedly given the directing job for Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video because his reel was, at the time, so terrible. Bayer lensed all of Green Day's music videos for Idiot, and, here, intersperses the onstage performances with band and fan interviews, plus behind-the-scenes footage of how a big stadium show comes together.
