Before American automobile design started becoming more and more homogenized, there was a time when cars actually had real presence, imagination, and style. In this new show, the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale sheds light on that golden era — an inspired period in the decades that followed WWII. Wax nostalgic while browsing through vintage rendered works, advertising art, and sculpted car models, and then compare a selection of classic automobiles with a sneak peek at the newest concept cars coming out of Detroit.
