Jen Stark: Place in Space

Jen Stark's art is endlessly mysterious. In addition to her explosive, painstakingly detailed drawings, the young artist builds wondrous sculptures out of layers, folds, and cutouts of multi-hued paper, leaving viewers as engrossed by the pieces' beauty as they are baffled by their execution. Her solo show at Carol Jazzar's space features new works (drawings, animation, and sculptural installations) inspired by "the mysteries that [lie] at the bottom of the ocean and at the edges of the universe."

Note: There is an opening reception on Fri Mar 14 (7-10pm).
